Declan John Parkes our beautiful baby boy was born sleeping at Harrogate Hospital.
40 weeks plus 4 days, 7lbs 8 our angel was ready for a full life ahead of him, which sadly wasn’t meant to be.
Sands has provided a great deal of support and comfort for us through their work with grieving families and forums and we want to contribute to their research programmes to try and prevent this happening to other families in the future.
The hospital provided a ‘cuddle cot’ which allowed us to spend some precious days with our Declan and we want to raise funds to buy a new cuddle cot for the hospital to provide families this important experience.
No matter how small or large your contribution you may just save another parents grief and ultimately another babies life.
Along with raising loads of money for these great charities we will be doing a testimonial event for Declan and getting our amazing friends and family together on a fun filled day.
