About Us

Kingsteignton Town Council are hosting a family fun day to celebrate the Kings Coronation on Saturday 6th May 23 commencing at 1030 am and finishing at 6pm.

This is a free day and is being held in the Community Hall and Grounds of the Town Council Offices, Rydon Road, Kingsteignton. The day will include free activities for children/families along with live music and food/drink.

The charities we have chosen for the money bid for 3 of these shirts is:

KingsCare’s DoItForDeaks and Walking alongside projects. Both of which have been The Mayors Chosen charity at some point. Do It For Deaks and Walking Alongside projects are two ways KingsCare supports the local community with mental health and wellbeing issues, making a difference in people lives and finding a way to move forward.
 

Fletcher Discombe 17/03/15 - 16/11/22
‘Fletcher’ was 7 years old, and his family were 2 weeks away from emigrating to Australia when he was diagnosed. He lost his battle against this terrible disease within 6 months of diagnosis. 

No family should have to go through this loss - please support by bidding for this amazing item. Equally please feel free to donate to Fletchers Arc within Kathryn Discombe is fundraising for Alice's Arc (justgiving.com)

Harry Kane has kindly donated his signed Tottenham football shirt which has been luxury framed - this is to support Fletchers Arc part of the Alice Arc children with cancer charity dedicated to funding research into finding a cure and less harsh treatment for Rhabdomyosarcoma. 

Money bid for the Geoff Hurst, Pele and World Cup Winners Display will be donated to KingsCare and the money bid for the Luxury framed Harry Kane shirt with be donated to Fletcher Discombe. 

Money bid on the other items will be evenly split between all three charities.
