Since starting work at MFC Foundation, I’ve learned two things: the first is that the work the Foundation does in the communities it reaches and the effect it has on the children and young people it engages with is massive. This has such a monumental effect that the greater the knowledge of this work to the local area and the public, the better. The second is just how proud I am to be a part of the first thing. I am running to not only raise vital funds for the charity, but to also raise awareness of the work they do, much of which is unknown, unadvertised, and unrewarded.
